invited friends for brunch, at the moment I am enjoying my coffee while the smell of bacon and homemade bread waft through the house.

Black coffee and watching the same show.

Can’t say what I woke up to Wink and getting ready to go watch my daughters volleyball tournament.

I'll be going over to my dad's at low tide to stand in muck up to my nuts to adjust the bunks and guide poles on his boat lift.

Fed the dogs and the cat, had myself a bagel. Catching up on my surfing now. Later I have a small grocery run to make. Today is clean-up-the-dog-poop day. Might do some reloading after that or I may even get ambitious and head out to the pistol range for some practice. Or just be lazy and pick up the novel I'm reading this week.

I just finished clearing the driveway of 8" of wet, heavy snow. I'm resting for a little bit, before I head to the store and pick up some roof melt. Ice dams are bad this year.

Its afternoon now - but I am waiting for my Comcast technician to arrive to replace my router and troubleshoot some ongoing issues. I was surprised they actually come out on Sundays.

Shoveling 8-10" of snow from the driveway and courtyard, splitting two wheel barrow loads of firewood and hauling it down six steps to cover.

Now I'm going to drink...

It's afternoon now, but I'm a nightshifter, so this is still my morning. Church got cancelled, so I plowed 6" of snow out of the driveway, changed the oil in the suburban, had lunch, and settled down to read sigforum. The oldest left to go sledding with the neighbor kids, and the other 3 hooligans are playing nicely on their own. Wife has a ham, green beans, and cheesey taters cooking. Life is good!

Obviously I'm on the computer, catching up on e-mail and forum postings. I'll soon be watching (delayed) our Sunday church service via YouTube, then go out for some dinner and snack stuff for at home. I've fed the indoor cats and will do the outdoor cat later.

Just got back from the activities that started this morning, running through a qualification type handgun and carbine course a couple of times with a friend.

Although it was sunny and nice for an almost-February day here (we had to peel off our coats before the end), I would have gladly accepted some of that 67 degree stuff. Wink
