Hate to be demeaning but I was walking my dog just now and went by the exercise place up the street and they were playing some kind of loud rap music and I realized to be a rapper all you need to be able to do is shout to time. They sure can't sing. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

The article mentions the 911 dispatcher, but it seems to me the one who pulled the trigger on Take Off should be known as the The Dispatcher. I have never heard of Take Off, for the most part not really my kind of music, but my condolences to his family and friends.
Officer Brandon Tatum explained this on his radio show after another recent rapper murder (Half Ounce maybe?). If I understand his explanation correctly, many of the real gangsta thugs resent how these commercially successful rappers have left the gangsta life but making big money and getting props for appearing to still be authentic. Talkin' the talk but not walkin' the walk. When these rappers travel to a city for a concert the real gangsta thugs in that city see it as a badge of street cred to "yank the chain" of the rapper. In years past, this literally meant stealing the rapper's gold chain(s) off their neck, often in public, both to bolster their own image, while diminishing and humiliating the rapper. I guess it's sort of like when military personnel had their rank insignia publicly ripped off their uniforms in a shameful demotion. With the trend of rappers frequently updating their social media with their current activities and locations, it doesn't take much effort for the local gangsta thugs to track them down and yank their chain...which, supposedly, is how Half Ounce bought it. In recent times, and the oneupsmanship of thugs, especially if a rapper has committed other transgressions, the trend has gone from stealing chains to murder. I'm sure that in some cases it's more complicated than that, but that was the gist of what I picked up on the explanation.

Migos rapper Takeoff was killed by a "stray bullet", his record company has claimed in a statement. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-63483768 'The 28-year-old, Grammy-nominated musician died on Tuesday in a shooting at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. Paying tribute, his record label said in a statement: "Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated."' "Police Chief Finner said "at least two firearms" were involved in the incident" and that there were "at least two individuals pulling triggers around here"." ____________________

I actually knew who this guy was, thanks to an Apple commercial Back when Apple introduced the Aniemojis the main commercial was the dog, poop, chicken and fox emoji rapping Migo’s song “Stir Fry”. That commercial was everywhere for a while https://www.theverge.com/2018/...mbino-migos-stir-fry https://youtu.be/57Chpy_Zt_o —————————————————— If the meek will inherit the earth, what will happen to us tigers?

Bad blood between rappers? Outrageous! Perhaps the net result will be more rappers shooting each other. I don’t see a downside… “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown
