I’ve had all types of sharpening tools. Pull through are the worse kind. If you are into the hobby, then maybe whetstones are for you. But if you’re simply for the results and getting them efficiently, I recommend the Ken onion workshop with the blade grinder attachment. Use light pressure, let the moving belt do all the work. As you move to the finer belts, ease up even more on the pressure. You’ll fix your knives in no time. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I sent a beat up heirloom Buffalo Skinner to Albert to be rehabilitated and it came back sharp as a razor. I recommend him CMSGT USAF (Retired) Chief of Police (Retired)
