X-plan pricing, or better, is the only way to buy a new Ford.quote:Originally posted by Lord Vaalic:quote:Originally posted by gearhounds:quote:A big part of folks selling shortly after receiving was to profit off the secondary market
I know someone that was offered several thousand dollars over what they paid for one they day they went to pick it up so the dealer could do just that. Contractually, they were prohibited from selling over invoice but a used Bronco (as in used for about 30 seconds) was fair game.
The Ford dealers here sell over invoice all the time. They call it dealer premium or somesuch BS. Told the guy where he could stick that, and next time the market crashes they can give me an equal customer premium discount.

I'm almost certain that the 2.7 only shares displacement size, and is a new engine.
Other than a larger oil pan, my understanding is the 2.7L is the same as the “Gen 2” 2.7L TT V6 used in 2018 and up F-150s. I browsed a pretty extensive thread in one of the forums where this was discussed in great detail.

My 19 Fusion has the old one in it, amongst the other changes, I really wish I had the multiport injection I'm not looking forward to having to walnut blast mine. Direct injection is stupid.
