Maybe some context here? Did she announce moving forward on articles of impeachment or something?

Pelosi calls for Judiciary Committee to proceed with articles of impeachment

I'm sure she's going to call a vote on impeachment eventually, but even somebody as stupid as Nancy realises that no impeachable offence has been committed, and she's hoping all these hearings might dredge one up & save her & her miserable party.

In the meantime, if what I'm reading and hearing is any indication, the groundswell of resentment and anger against this farce is growing. Daily.

"I want to apologize for what I said earlier about the president's son. It was wrong of me to do that. I wish the president would apologize, obviously, for the things that he's done that's wrong, but I do regret having said that."

She can't even apologize without taking a shot at President Trump. How sincere.

I have just about reached the end of my patience with this farce, and the goons behind it. So, Nancy Lugosi wants to force a vote, does she?

I'm writing to my new Congressional - a woman who was voted in as a "moderate" but who announced her support for removing President Trump through impeachment in July - informing her that if she follows through with a vote to impeach, I will spare no effort or expense to see that her first term in Congress is her last.

I suggest everyone with a like mind (probably most of us) do the same. Don't know who your Congressional is? Plug in your zip code and you'll be taken right to their House page: https://ziplook.house.gov/htbin/findrep_house?ZIP=

We’ve known all along there has been no impeachable offense. They’ve known it too. This is nothing but an continuous attack on Trumps character to create the false impression that “he must be guilty of something, right? Otherwise they wouldn’t be trying to impeach him” in the minds of middle of the road voters and shallow thinkers in general. If people like Pelosi were subject to repercussions for false reports, there’d be a lot less of it going on.

I know who my congresscritter is, and I know it's almost certainly futile to even bother. I will, anyway, but it's a waste of electrons, wear on my keyboard, and my time.

Personally, I'm coming to believe the goal isn't impeachment. They have to know the Senate will never vote to impeach. The goal I believe is to try to discredit the President through innuendo, implication, and even downright lies, so as to hurt his chances in 2020.

Witness the "testimony" given by law professors called by the Democrats yesterday. One Congressman asked (paraphasing): "Does anybody here have any actual first-hand evidence the President has committed any crimes?" <crickets> So what was the point in having these law professors testify? Every last bit of three of those "witnesses" testimony was begging the question. It was all just propaganda.

This. There is no "high crimes or misdemeanors." Its all about propaganda to justify the removal from office of a political opponent. A soft coup. Mad

The faster this gets to the Senate the better. Lets see what happens when they have to face the facts without their spin on it.

I think the Democrats are going to panic about what this actually means going to the Senate and especially with Trump now urging them to go for it so the GOP can subpoena all these Dems under oath, they are going to run away from impeachment fast and try to do something like a censuring.

I honestly think Pelosi was setting Nadler up to be the fall guy here today when this whole thing implodes in their faces.

She (they) keep saying they don't want to have to do it, but Trump's actions "made" them.

So, when it implodes as expected they are pre-blaming Trump for going through with it. They had no choice, he "made" them... Roll Eyes
