"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

there is a part of transcript that no one seems to understand:

Crowdstrike was the company that analyzed the DNC server and determined that the Russians had hacked it. The DNC never let the FBI examine the server.

Is President Trump talking about the DNC server ? very confusing

DOJ Reconfirms: Ukraine's Role in 2016 Election Interference is Being Investigated

After the Department of Justice released the call transcript between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Wednesday morning, officials also reconfirmed U.S. Attorney John Durham is looking into Ukraine's role and potential interference in the 2016 presidential election.

interference against Donald Trump

"A Department of Justice team led by U.S. Attorney John Durham is separately exploring the extent to which a number of countries, including Ukraine, played a role in the counterintelligence investigation directed at the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. While the Attorney General has yet to contact Ukraine in connection with this investigation, certain Ukrainians who are not members of the government have volunteered information to Mr. Durham, which he is evaluating," DOJ Spokesperson Kerri Kopek released in a statement.

In 2016, a DNC operative met with Ukrainian officials in Washington D.C. They were looking for dirt on then candidate Trump.

the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country's president to help.

In written answers to questions, Ambassador Valeriy Chaly's office says DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa sought information from the Ukrainian government on Paul Manafort’s dealings inside the country in hopes of forcing the issue before Congress.

Chalupa later tried to arrange for Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to comment on Manafort’s Russian ties on a U.S. visit during the 2016 campaign, the ambassador said.

Chaly says that, at the time of the contacts in 2016, the embassy knew Chalupa primarily as a Ukrainian American activist and learned only later of her ties to the DNC. He says the embassy considered her requests an inappropriate solicitation of interference in the U.S. election.

Just watched the joint meeting of President Trump and the President of the Ukraine. The leftists are so very fucked.

Y'know, if Pelosi had just waited 24 hours, she could have read the transcript of the call and witnessed this joint meeting, wherein the President of the Ukraine said "no one pushed me."

But, of course, the crazed Dems are not interested in the facts, not in the least. So fucked, and they've done all of it to themselves. They will continue on this same trajectory, and only a resounding defeat in November of next year will put the slightest dent in their stupidity and obstinance.

Some of this may seem like just more of the same.

But, now there's a call for transcripts of other calls. The first 5 pages of another 2 million pages?

The fact is, we, the American people, are paying for all this time and energy.

What a waste. Spend our money helping our fellow citizens not on some frolic when the election is just around the corner.

The window of utility is getting ever smaller.

I believe this as well.

Trump will win. But Americans will get so fed up with the commies and their ever worsening insanity, they have more to lose. In 6 months, 10 months, they will be full-blown desperate, like an animal with its leg caught in a trap. And most of America will not go along.

They are now trying to paralyze his Presidency by demanding to know every word of every private call he makes with everyone in the course of doing his job.

No, screw that. Time to punch these assholes back, HARD.

Senate again votes to end Trump emergency declaration on border wall
The Hill > BY JORDAIN CARNEY - 09/25/19 01:01 PM EDT

>>> https://thehill.com/homenews/s...r-wall?userid=392361
============================================
"Under the National Emergencies Act, a resolution ending the declaration needed only a simple majority to clear the Senate, making it likely to be approved. But underscoring the broad swath of concern about Trump’s actions among the Senate GOP caucus, 11 Republican senators voted to nix the declaration.
*****************************************
=========================================
GOP Sens. Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), Roy Blunt (Mo.), Susan Collins (Maine), Mike Lee (Utah), Jerry Moran (Kansas), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Rand Paul (Ky.), Rob Portman (Ohio), Mitt Romney (Utah), Pat Toomey (Pa.) and Roger Wicker (Miss.) voted to end he president's declaration.
========================================
****************************************
The vote marks another setback from Trump in the midst of a chaotic week on Capitol Hill. The White House is locked in a burgeoning impeachment battle with Democrats and lawmakers still need to fund the government before Monday to prevent the second shutdown of the year.
Democrats have seized on the administration’s decision to shift money away from military construction projects as a way to politically box in Republicans by forcing them to decide between breaking with Trump or voting to allow money to be shifted away from projects in their own states".......

......"Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), who is up for reelection, said he would vote to uphold the emergency declaration even though it is resulting in military projects in his state losing money.

“Same way I voted last time. How would I square voting differently?” Cornyn asked.

When a reporter noted his state was losing money according to the Pentagon list, he added: “that’s way too parochial.”

Spokespeople for McSally and Tillis also confirmed ahead of the vote that they would also support the emergency declaration.

“Senator Tillis will once again be supporting President Trump’s emergency declaration because Democrats refuse to provide the president with the tools and resources he needs to address the crisis at our southern border and keep America safe,” said a spokesperson for Tillis."
=====================================

I find it incredible that President Trump in addition to battling with the Fake News, Fake Ukraine Baloney, Fake Climate Change, Fake Russian Collusion, Democrat Legislative foot dragging and all the rest.....

Now faces non-support for his Boarder Security Initiative from....
HIS OWN PARTY! Mad

I urge SF Members from the states of Tennessee, Missouri, Maine, Utah, Kansas, Alaska, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to write, e-mail, or call their representatives and ask them to Support Their President.

GOP Senators
Lamar Alexander (Tenn.)
Roy Blunt (Mo.)
Susan Collins (Maine)
Mike Lee (Utah)
Jerry Moran (Kansas)
Lisa Murkowski (Alaska)
Rand Paul (Ky.)
Rob Portman (Ohio)
Mitt Romney (Utah)
Pat Toomey (Pa.)
and Roger Wicker (Miss.)

Need to be told that Supporting the President in securing our borders is more important than kowtowing to liberal voters and Republicans too fearful of military funding losses to support the wall.

Not sure what you seek - except for the future? Like last time, they failed to get a veto proof majority against the president.

Did I miss something?

The president will veto what the 11 wanted. And, this summer the SCOTUS ruled that Trump had the power to redirect those funds.

Again, did I get this wrong?

All you say is valid.

My Point is that these Senators should know that their constituents demand that they support the President and Republican agenda.

Hopefully they would not be so weak kneed in the future.

Too many younger Democrats whose own political fortunes do not depend upon the party's national appeal, much less its control of the White House, have been allowed to control the conversation. Some of them are cynical, others merely naïve, but the takeaway is the same regardless: The hydra is eating its own heads. Pelosi should have known better than to feed it in the first place.

OTOH, perhaps the old D guard, having lost control of the message, and sick and tired of being driven to the extreme by the new guard have decided the best way to clean house is to punt. Give the ball away for one more term in order to kill off the parasites that are killing the party, lose the house, lose more in the Senate, Trump re-elected, then can go to the supporters of the extreme party and tell them that you let them have their run at socialism, it's not going to work so Adios MFer's...

That's a really bad strategy. All the super progressives are safe for re-election, so it won't hurt AOCs of the world or people from CA. It will hurt the moderate Dems, especially those in swing States Trump won. Those are the places Dems need to hold onto to keep control of the house and/or beat Trump. This just emboldens the base and pisses off normal everyday Americans or are center left or independent.

Full steam ahead with the impeachment proceedings! Put that MF-er on the floor today please Dems. Do it!!! I beg you please, please do it!

Holy crap - what a disaster this has turned out to be for the Dems. Anyone with any sense is reading that transcript and saying "What the hell are the Dems talking about???"

Now they are committed to an impeachment process that has zero chance of going anywhere in the Senate (and probably not even 50/50 odds in the House) and has even less popular support in the country.

PLUS, they have everyone watching a video of Biden bragging about doing exactly what they are all accusing Trump of doing. Biden has to be looking at the Dem leadership and saying "what in the hell were you guys thinking."

I doubt this was a Trump set up but he surely could not have scripted it any better.

Russian collusion hoax didn't work. They got to manufacture another "scandal". Not a surprise with the level of hatred they have for this President. Try to make something stick. What disgusts me even more is the assholes Republicans. Some of them were always Trump haters (Romney is number 1) but pretending to be his allies. But, at first opportunity, they waste no time stabbing him the back. Mad

I can't cite the source, but I remember that it is thought that Crowdstrike still has an image of the DNC computer.

Investigation of the DNC hard drive computer image, and Chalupa's interactions with the Ukraine diplomats could be very interesting I think.
