4014 has also been doing a LOAD of running with UP's Northern, the FEf, #844, running behind.

I'm just VERY grateful that UP spent an alleged $13M to bring this truly EPIC locomotive back to life - for all of us lovers of steam trains everywhere.

Whinemeal, I'm told by a local model train store that sales of EVERY brand of H0 model of this loco have been sold out twice over. My own H0 model, from a while back, is #4006.

LOL I did try that once, I kept hitting my head on things for a while afterwords.

C-Dubs, bummer. I am sort of debating on weather I want to drive the 2.5 hours down to Ill to see it up close and personal like. As much as I would like to get a better look at it, I am just not at all enthused about the drive to start with, not to mention the "Chicago" part...lol
