Second video timestamped for the actual reveal.

Ok, so that was absolutely useless as far as what the car is gonna look like. I did manage to see it's not even a roadster (i think)? I thought they started out with an electric miata equivalent, so... an actual roadster.

Second video is better look at the car, but its doing some CAPCOM/Marvel shit on stage...
Is this a new car release or the trailer for the new avengers movie? Still looks like a cyber truck somebody stepped on and I didnt see any performance figures (im in a non permissive environment, so I'm going of what I can see, no sound). Im gonna assume its targeting the Lambo crowd?

A Perpetual Disappointment...

Man, the thing stuck to the roadway upside down, and then it flew.

Are we really so jaded that we ignore this to talk about how the thing looks? Appearance is just packaging. Have you ever seen an automobile do those things?

It reminds me of a cool looking Delorean. I’d happily take one for a drive.

I apparently posted in between videos. I would still trade it for a c10 or a chevelle, upside down driving or no...

I find it both stunningly amazing in technical achievement and stupefyingly horrific in the hands of immature assholes on the road.

I highly doubt that will all be available on the production model.

Agreed. If the past is anything to go by it’s overpromise and under deliver. Marketing, hype, etc, same as it ever was.

Full length video is bonkers. Elon living out his childhood TV stunt car wildest dreams. And I’m here for it.
0-60 in .89 seconds with a jet assisted launch ? Elon promises Mach .5 so that’s like 350 mph + ?

Only Elon can do something absolutely batshit crazy like this--and actually make it happen.

Mind boggling to my inner 8 year old from the 1970s that an American car offering could ever make this look low-tech?
