Well done!
I think back to my time just short of making 1st Dan in Shorin-ryu. To jump back in takes commitment. You're not thinking about it. You're doing it.

Congratulations.

I used to train in Kajukenbo in Flagstaff. On at least three occasions, class was unexpectedly cancelled, after I had driven from Williams to Flag. There was an Aikido dojo and the first time I dropped in, I found them very welcoming. I went there a couple more times. Always fun. Always very welcoming. Great people. Under different circumstances I would have been very happy to train in the art.

Wonderful achievement, kkina

Congratulations kkina!

I enjoyed Aikido immensely when I was in my 20s, and trained at the dojo in Denver. A very satisfying experience. 30 years later, and I haven't found an Aikido dojo near me (I live out in the boonies), so have not picked it up again, but would like to.

Quite the accomplishment, sir.

Congrats kkina!

You have inspired me. I just turned 62 and have been thinking of taking Aikido (don't know if my beat up knees can take it) so I am going to do their one month trial.
