They probably don't have a very long range and more vibration than a UJM. That's all I got, I've always wanted one.

You've come to the wrong place to be talked out of buying a motorcycle. If you want one, don't have to go hungry in order to buy it, then buy it before someone buys it. I wanted a Gen III busa even though I already have 2 bikes so I found a good deal, drove 1200 miles round trip and bought the Busa. While you're procrastinating and debating someone will come along and buy it before you do.

When I was contemplating buying my Audi S3, a good friend said to me, "Life is short. If you can afford it, get it". I pass that on to you.

The closest Ducati dealership is 36 miles (40 min drive) from my house. Not terribly far but not as close as the Honda powersports dealership that I live 5 min away from.

I own similar bikes but I think this Ducati will be different.

It’s going to need a belt change as the current owner doesn’t know when it was last changed. It will also need brake pads and maybe a brake bleed.

The price just dropped down to an amount I was tempted of offer. This Monster has entered a price range where I may scoop it up.

I need to figure out how much a belt change and brakes will cost and factor that into my offer if I make one.

I daily drive ehh ride a v twin Buell X1 Lightning and occasionally a boxer twin BMW R9T that has remarkably low miles. I am trying to keep the miles low on the BMW as it is still sub 2,000 miles though maybe I should just switch the odometer to trip and forget about the miles.

I wonder how different it is from my current Suzuki, Buell and BMW twins? They all have around the same horsepower at just over 100.

The video of the bike idling sounds so good. That dry clutch is something you either love or hate.

You’ll shoot your eye out….. or wreck.
I want a bike really bad but I think about the crazy drivers in Houston and decided against it. I’m better off buying a sports car but I have seen some great bikes for cheap.

Where are you along the Blue Ridge Pkwy? I just rode about 225 miles on the parkway from Waynesboro, VA and had to exit near Hwy43 and get back on off of 460. I was able to ride another 75 miles or so into NC before exiting again for a closure. I stayed in Little Switzerland for a few days before working my way back to PA. Totally awesome riding in the area along with beautiful scenery.

Just post the current owners first name and phone number along with approximate location of the bike and you won't have to worry about it after tomorrow/ Wink

Classic Monsters are an awesome ride. It's even the correct color. Better scratch that itch.
