When schools started indoctrinating children, when 24 hour news became sensationalist trash pushing agendas, when people were conditioned to believe they deserved everything, that’s when the collapse started. The criminals in power are repeating the fall of Rome and why wouldn’t they? They get fat off the money they steal from us while pitting us against each other. When things fall apart they e got their offshore accounts and palatial bunkers in other countries. There’s no loyalty to the US and we the people. Our government and its useful idiots are a virus that will kill the host.

Bret and his wife Heather continue to claim they are liberals, and reject that they've been red-pilled. I think they just haven't recognized the prejudices they've been programmed with, that the opposite of liberal is hateful bigotry. They haven't realized that Democrat has not been the same as classical liberal since before they were born.

But they are rapidly seeing the light.

If anyone is not familiar with their history, look up what happened to them as college professors and then how hard cancel culture attacked during covid.

To avoid listening to a non-stop wail of complaints in this forum about conditions in this country, I encourage members to appreciate the good things in this life- and there are good things in this life, but the issues have become overwhelming. All but the very wealthy seem unhappy, angry, fed-up, frustrated to the point of wanting to scream. This is unsustainable. Consequently, people are predicting that Armageddon is at hand, in some form or another. It's understandable, though perhaps illogical. Change can be brought about in less than catastrophic ways, but such things require cooperation and reason, a willingness to find and work towards a common goal. Other ways of bringing about profound change seem more likely these days. However, history has shown us that people may learn to live in a cesspool for years, decades, before they have had enough.

Recently, I posted about the drafting of the Declaration of Independence. Americans- whether or not they realize it in the historical context- now feel much like the Colonists of the late 18th Century felt. Whether or not we pull ourselves up by our boot straps remains to be seen, but in the meantime, reflect on this a bit:


We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. I feel it too. We, the American People, have been SOLD OUT, by the people who ostensibly represent us.

The mire is so sticky and filthy, that any new blood sent to congress is quickly covered in it.

The intelligence agencies and the DOJ are wholly corrupt.

I don't think this gets fixed at the ballot box. I just don't see how.


I'm enjoying life, taking good care of my kids and enjoying them being young and carefree.

But I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Seems like the organs of the state are keen on keeping it falling so slowly that there is no one particular moment that can be pointed to as a death knell of America. They haven't killed the American spirit, but the death of the institutions which we are supposed to be able to trust is a bitter pill.

Government can’t fix itself any more than you car can change a tire.

The problem is the people in. All of them.

They need to be entirely flushed away and we need to start again. Smaller. About 5% of what we have right now. Eliminate them all except for State and DoD.

They’re all traitors bent on destroying our country.

Can you imagine how much food we would have if we actually let farmers farm?

Actually, when the FBI says we are facing increased threats, that's when I expect it to be nice and quiet. Can you think of an instance when the FBI issued such a warning, and then something happened? I can't, not a single time, ever.

Yes, this time, they're asking for more money so that they can fuck with us some more, but even without begging for our money- if the FBI warns of the possibility of imminent attacks, nothing happens. I'm not talking about back-channel, inter-agency memos; I'm talking about when the FBI issues these very public warnings. Nothing. Zip.

Actually I see it two different ways, and I'm not sure which is right...

A) With all of the fucking illegals being shipped in by our government, many with known terrorists ties, I believe we are ripe and overdue for some catastrophic event. Therefore there may be a strong element of truth in what they are saying!

B) Like you, I don't believe anything posted by the Fucking Bureau of Instigation. They have long lost any sense of credibility or trust with me and most red-blooded Americans!

One other option that just popped into my mind... maybe .gov is bringing in all the illegals just so they CAN ask for more funding to grow their weaponized departments (as chellim1 hinted to above)! Sounds logical to me...

IIRC correctly, there were FBI agents in the car behind the jihadists who arrived to shoot up the Garland,TX 'draw muhammed' contest.

They were also warned about the Boston marathon bombers before the event occurred, and did nothing.

IMO it is equally likely that if a terror attack occurs, the FBI has a good chance of actually being involved in allowing it to happen if it helps them drive a narrative.

Less trustworthy than week old gas station sushi.
