For many of us, CHU Canada was probably one of the first stations we heard


June 22 will be the final broadcast signal.

CHU goes off the air.

CHU and WWV were among the first stations I listened to when getting started. They were very strong and easy to find.

W1AW was among the next group when I was learning CW.

That's a shame.

CHU was my the first QSL card 16-year-old me received back in the 80's.

When I got back into the hobby thirty years later, it was my first NEW card, confirming that while heavily "compromised" my antenna was actually pulling stuff in.

^^^^. How did you transmit on those frequencies (3330, 7850, 14670)?

It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

I didn't know that. I've never been much into QSL cards, but always assumed that they were for acknowledgment of two way comms only.
