For many of us, CHU Canada was probably one of the first stations we heard June 22 will be the final broadcast signal. CHU goes off the air. Any dog can be a Guide Dog if you don't care where you're going. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

CHU and WWV were among the first stations I listened to when getting started. They were very strong and easy to find. W1AW was among the next group when I was learning CW.

That's a shame. CHU was my the first QSL card 16-year-old me received back in the 80's. When I got back into the hobby thirty years later, it was my first NEW card, confirming that while heavily "compromised" my antenna was actually pulling stuff in.

I didn't know that. I've never been much into QSL cards, but always assumed that they were for acknowledgment of two way comms only. ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States.
