FredwardI just do what I do and to hell with how it looks. If I wear one, it's around the waist.

bertoI do sometimes. It’s the right size to carry the meds and snacks I need to stay alive without lugging a backpack around all the time. The fanny pack goes inside a backpack for my commute.

Fly-SigI frequently wear a fanny pack but never slung over my torso. I don't see that style here often. I saw it quite a bit in Europe. I may get a sling bag for concealed carry while hiking when carrying a bit more stuff than just a gun.

konata88Are sling bags considered foo foo? Not that I really care.

I use a small one for hikes and kayaking - very convenient for small water bottles, snacks, attaching 2 way radio and whistle.
Fanny packs are okay but uncomfortable when I need to sit for a moment.

HKAngusKLI've heard those types of bags referred to as a "shoot me first" bag. Not sure where I picked that one up.

PorterNI got one of the ukoala bags. Can wear it on my thigh or slung like a side bag (murse/satchel). It’s convenient and i like it, regardless of what others think.

Most of the time I carry IWB but I often help my brother w/ his work, I use a pack from LApolicegear to carry my G26 w/ G19 mag and wallet or phone. While working I'll have it positioned somewhere around my waist, front/back/side.
When I leave from there I'll sling it across my chest and keep it there while stopping at a store or wherever.
It's part of my way to have a 15 rnd. gun on me while currently wearing clothing that doesn't allow it.
Small caliber mouse gun? No thanks. I'll take the fanny pack.

Yeah, for a decade now. but I think we're still waiting for an actual report where someone was wearing a "shoot me first" bag, vest, shirt, hat, sticker, lunchbox, etc. and they were shot first or at all.

ridewvI may have to get one because I'm running out of pockets for my wallet, a ring of keys, 2-3 damn fobs, pen knife, phone, and I don't put any of these in rear pockets. So far I'm getting by with pants with cargo pockets.
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I have a Maxpedition sling pack and love it! It’s not an EDC bag, it’s my day hike pack and “get home” bag. I wear it on my back though not in front, it can be quickly pulled in front and accessed on the move. Mine is tan snd “Ranger” green.
I mention that because I was hiking the Wildwood trail in Portland, OR and passed a woman with the exact same pack! And I mean exact, same brand, model and color!
I highly doubt she’s a gun owner but who knows? Anyway, packs with molle are super common now and used by all sorts of people, I don’t think it’s much of a “shoot me 1st” signal anymore.

Yeah, same here.
I'm known to carry a Wilderness Safepacker on a strap, Sam Browne-style. It doesn't get a second look from people.
I see guys wearing fanny packs in the same manner and it's common enough that no one seems it give it a thought or care at all. Maybe they're carrying, maybe not. In some instances, they are, especially since my state now has Constitutional Carry.
There was a time, 25 or 30 years ago, when carrying a pack in such a manner was considered unmanly, but it has become so commonplace these days, it's not even worthy of comment.

BOATTRASH1I wear on occasionally when walking. It has an H&K P 2000 in it.

Mine is a subdued gray color, does not look at all "tactical." It holds a P245 with a P220 magazine and a spare magazine for a total of 17 rounds of .45 ACP in a compact innocent looking package.

Yeah, I don't care about clothing fashions, hair styles, or the fact that I carry a Maxpedition FatBoy Versipack bag outside the house. Call it a murse or purse or satchel or whatever.
I'm on my second one, the first wore out in 7 years of use. Do I carry a lot of shit? To some yes, to others, maybe not enough.
