sourdough44Whats in your glass tonight??? Part(?)
This eve is my ‘Friday’, a long 3 days at work. Just a few IPA’s my Sister got me from a U.P. of MI brewery. Some type of ‘Borealis’ from the Keweenaw Brewing Co, Houghtin, MI.

BRLStarted with a Summer Shandy, then we paired fresh beer batter walleye with an Alaskan Smoked Porter.
Finishing the evening with a Dram of High West Distillery's Campfire - a delicious Dram consisting of a blend of Rye, Bourbon and blended Scotch Whisky. Perfect for a cool night in the north woods while we listen to the loons.

mr kablammoDad and I are battling it out for the weekend cribbage title . Sipping on Founder's Backwood Bastard, and Canadian Breakfast Stout. ABV, 11% . We will both take a nap soon.

RIC.45Tonight will be a couple glasses of 19 Crimes shiraz. Don't know what to expect since I haven't had a shiraz.
If it sucks - I'll pour a Monkey Shoulder scotch.

tk13Pikesville Rye, 110 proof, with just a couple drops of water. Usually not a fan of rye whiskey but had this at a tasting at the Heaven Hill Distillery last week and really like it.

I'm not so sure that any of that really needs protection.

Mark in MichiganFinished the last 3 oz of my Angel's Envy Bourbon and then rested for about 2 hours...broke open a new bottle of Crown Royal Vanilla which I have never had before and I can tell you that it was sweet and smooth!
Remembering the reason we mark Memorial Day.
Best regards,

Pipe SmokerEarlier, it was Stiegl Gold, my favorite lager. Now it’s Silk brand “Unsweetened” soy milk, laced with a goodly amount of Cholula Green Pepper hot sauce.
Very addictive!

Pipe SmokerDow’s 10 yo tawny port. I used to think that Taylor Fladgate was the best 10 yo tawny, with the Dow’s a close second. The Taylor Fladgate is certainly the smoothest 10 yo tawny, but the slight edge of the Dow’s harbors an interesting complexity that I’ve come to appreciate. Now I buy the Dow’s and the Taylor Fladgate in equal quantities, and alternate bottles.

smithnsigSierra Nevada Summerfest. Says it’s a Czech Pilsner but it’s a bit more than that in a good way.
Followed by a Sam Adams IPA. Nice summertime IPA that isn’t so hopped that all you taste is Pine tops.
