Not a seasonal... Just a plain old Hoegaarden.

For some reason I read it as Oktoberfest Hoegaarden. I had my beer goggles on last night.

St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 20. A wonderful dubbel, with a little raspberry, brett yeast, and aged in wine barrels. Delicious.

How is that place? The closest one to me is an hour 1/2 away and I'm wondering if it's worth checking out.

Yes. If you have kids it’s a nice alternative to the casinos there. Bring cash, lots of it.

A little Blantons Bourbon, neat, while Dakota waits for me to throw his plush bone.

Sam Adams again. I’m ready for the summer seasonals, especially the pils to come out. I love a good Czech or German Pilsner, but sometimes you want a little more taste, but the same style.

Walked into a little liquor store in a shady part of town and found a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel from 2014. Drinks pretty damn nice.

Tonight, following the death of my brother this afternoon, it’s plain ole Evan Williams straight out of the bottle!!! Piss on anything else!

I’ve been there. About a year and a half ago. It sucks. It will get better, but it sucks.

I’m very sorry.

We buried my father-in-law yesterday, and my FIL’s youngest sibling today. They passed 12 hrs apart last weekend.

So last night involved drinking everything in sight.

I offer condolences and sympathy.

Tonight, a Jester King Kvass with Ratatouille. And a Maximus after dinner.

It’s Saturday evening! A good excuse for a second glass of Taylor Fladgate 10 yo tawny port! Especially since I have six more bottles of it on order for next Tuesday. Smile Life is good!

Serious about crackers.
