I have a customer whose son makes his living by buying abandoned storage spaces at auction and flipping the loot. They live in a trailer, are total hoarders and store their loot in the front yard. Not a "stupid question"! Pills are counterfeited to resemble KNOWN medications, but are in fact containing at least some, and in many cases ALL the active ingredients of fentanyl. They look like "A", "B", or "C" medications, but instead of having any of those ingredients, are instead only fentanyl. What's missing in this story is the proper new conference. The guy who bought the unit needs to be at a podium in a surplus military outfit that found in a previous storage unit auction. The more stars and bars the better. Then he needs 20 people behind him that he recognizes for the role they played in the purchase. They should all stand with their hands together and nod as he speaks. Perhaps one of two of them may also step up to the microphone to detail their involvement. This group should include (but not be limited to) his family, the storage facility manager, a representative from the auction company, his boss from his regular job, his banker, his mechanic, his neighbors, his favorite teacher from when he was in school, and the guys he meets for coffee in the morning. | |||

A LOT. A lot of these mini storage places don't care if you pay cash and aren't that keen on getting the owners information. Many you could use a fake ID and pay cash. So a lot of drug dealers will keep a modest amount of drugs on hand and cash, so if they're busted they don't get charged with more serious charges if they had more weight on hand. Also more secure place to keep their cash. | |||
