On my bike rides, I set it to never so I can watch my progress on my exercise app. Then I set it back to 2 minutes....which I think is the default time. 5 minutes. I like to keep my phone open to my libre3 app to watch my glucose levels rise after I eat a meal. Not minority enough! | |||

I have an iPhone 12 Mini and do one minute, mostly to prolong the battery charge. | |||

It's set for five minutes but I generally hit the right side button whenever I'm done with the phone for any reason. | |||

Android (Samsung) here. 10 min screen timeout, with accidental touch protection enabled. Auto locks 5 seconds after screen timeout. | |||

Samsung here. It may come back to haunt me, but I don't lock mine at all. Screen timeout is 1 minute. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent. | |||

Down the Rabbit Hole |
This is the reason I keep mine set to 1 minute. A fast lock time allows very little time for someone to access the phone if I lose and leave it unattended. The Company I worked for required very short lock times for computers for these same security concerns. With over 25K employees, incidents did happen that forced this policy.
