I've owned a bunch of M/T cars and trucks in the past.
My wife's car is a 2018 VW Golf Sportwagen with an M/T.
I wish an American-made full size truck was still available with an M/T. Alas, no more.

Only the '83 V-45 in the garage now. I did have an '82 280ZX with a manual for about 21 years and 300,000 miles.
I learned to shift a manual on a '75 Honda XR-75 when I was 11. Learned after that in a '76 Datsun pickup with a 4 speed when I was 14. Gave up the Z car in 2003 for the first automatic I had since 1982. The old motorcycle is it now.

Had a few. Still driving my 2004 Civic EX sedan. Love it so much, I had the engine replaced last year at about 197,000 with a much lower mileage (70,000-ish) JDM engine. IMO, there is something about a manual trans that makes me feel more "at one" with a vehicle.

I've had several manual transmission vehicles in my 40 years of driving, starting with a 1972 VW when I was 17.
The only one I currently own is a 2008 BMW 135i convertible w/6 speed manual.
Bought both my sons m/t vehicles when they learned to drive. I felt it kept them more active and attentive in the driving process and kept their hands too busy to fiddle with the cell phone.

Bought a new daily driver early in the year and retired the old DD that had a 5-speed. Only M/T still in the fleet is a Superformance '65 Cobra replica with a Tremec 5-speed.

Ford F-150 4x4 which I bought new in 1991. Had to replace the shifting fork in the transmission at 112k miles, but otherwise it's only needed the usual maintenance. Still going strong at 127k miles and passes safety inspection each year with flying colors.

My 2015 Chevy SS (Holden Commodore) is a manual. Rare bird these days. V8, real wheel drive sedan with a huge trunk. Manual transmission is icing on the cake. Never selling this car

This is one of the few signals that can't be caught or blocked; when a process is sent SIGKILL, it never runs again. This is signal 9, as in the ever-popular kill -9
