Southernmost Inn is a great place to stay. A bit pricey but very nice. There was a bar attached to it that some locals drank at. It was in the back and not very easy to spot.
Banana Cafe has really good breakfast. Ocean Bar & Grill had a killer brunch and you should visit A&B Lobster House. That one's pricey but worth it.
Duval Street at night for live music possibly at Irish Kevin's.
Lots to do.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

Appreciate the input, will look into a golf cart instead of a rental car if we feel the need for one. Anyone know the Uber situation there? Will be the easiest way to get around unless they're in short supply.

Made a reservation already for Prime Steakhouse. Looking at Louie's Backyard or Latitude's for another nice meal one night. Thoughts between the two?

Rest of the time we'll stick to hole in the wall places for food/drinks.

I was just in Key West 2 days ago and am there many times a year. Taxi's are generally cheaper and more prevalent than UBER. Key's taxi is everywhere and cheap, UBER is more. Everything is a VERY short hop, so doubtful you'll need a golf cart, but it is fun for a day or two to cruise around the entire island.

Louis backyard and Blue Heaven ARE the best 2 restaurants in Key West Bar none. Personally I would skip Prime and swap it for Latitudes on Sunset Key, you take a free water taxi from the Hilton to a small island, and the ambiance at the restaurant is awesome, especially at sunset and at night. The food is very good also.......and Louis for dinner, and Blue Heaven for lunch.

You really owe it to yourself to go to Blue Heaven, the food there is insanely good. The Key Lime Pie is the best I've had and lunch prices are pretty reasonable, but dinner is insanely good. For hole in the wall, it's hard to beat Half Shell raw bar, they have excellent food. Most restaurants in Key West at are good. Also Better than Sex for dessert one night is a must do.

Bagatelle has an incredible brunch and is definitely worth stopping for. Alonzo's was fantastic for raw oysters if that's your thing. It's right on the water.

The Schooner Wharf Bar is cool and 7 Fishes is a great little seafood place.

Another strong recommendation for Blue Heaven. Been their twice and the Key Lime Pie is to die for as well as the rest of the offerings. Besides it has a cool funky vibe to it.

Wife and I were there last October, we ate at several hole in the wall places.

DJ's Clam shack - Lobster role and anything else seafood related is good

Garbos Grill - Excellent food! Sitting outside under trees, grab a beer from the place in front!

Bad Boy Burritos - Excellent food!

El Siboney - For Cuban food!

Everyone mentions Blue Heaven, we went there for breakfast and it was good. But for breakfast we also recommend trying La Creperie right across the street! Food at La Creperie was excellent.

Frozen Custard at the Courthouse Deli!
