I bet the cadre at Ranger School won't be very happy with him when they see this...he is going to be in for a rough time. And then, assuming he survives the course, he'll report to his unit with a reputation firmly established. As one of the Forum members put it, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

AR 600-20 addresses membership in organizations, political activity that he is not n violation of. http://sill-www.army.mil/sharp...tion/AR%20600_20.pdf On page 26: "7) Support for persons or organizations that promote or threaten the unlawful use of force or violence. (8) Encouraging military or civilian personnel to violate laws or disobey lawful orders or regulations for the purposeof disrupting military activities (subversion)." UCMJ Articles 92, 116, 117, 133, and 134 are listed as possible violations. He could also in involuntary separation, bar to voluntary definite status, bar or removal from Regular Army status, reclassification, and such other administrative action the command deems sufficient. At the very least I see loss of his security status. He likely has a "secret" and that keeps him from many assignments. He has a five year service obligation. Certainly he could be reassigned to important positions such as drug testing, morale support, ACS, and other less then military jobs. His OER (think report card) would gurentee no promotion and no retention. “ The work of destruction is quick, easy and exhilarating; the work of creation is slow, laborious and dull.

The SecDef, and likely not POTUS know this guys name now. That's not going to work out well for him. The question becomes, do they try to run him up the flagpole, or just let him go with minimum fuss and bother?

I believe in the principle of Due Process |
I did not retire, and was never a JAG officer. I was an 1105. My active duty time was spent in exploring and expanding the miracles of NTDS computing of the late 60's. I had been a reservist before and was after active duty, hoping to squeeze in 20 before they realized I had no 1105 experience to speak of. I was a lawyer after active duty, but was not redesignated to JAG. Jhe and I agree that thr photos at commencement probably aren't within the conduct defined in those articles. Whatver else he has done or is doing might... who knows? Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

That link mentions a statement about VP Pence as well. They have forced generals into retirement for saying nicer things so I'd be surprised if the little red bastard escapes unscathed. _____________________________ 'I'm pretty fly for a white guy'.
