Happy Birthday Rogue, please throw my name in the hat. I appreciate the several times you responded to questions I asked. I don’t have any funny birthday stories about myself, but on my brother’s birthday ( it was also his bachelor party) we took a bus to Windsor Canada, this was back before you needed a passport, the customs guy stood at the front of the bus and yelled “has anyone on here ever been convicted of a felony” …. I’m my infinite wisdom I shouted “ never convicted” …. Ya needless to say I’ll never make that mistake again!! Hahaha… of course this was 40 years ago, it turns out they had a lot better sense of humor back then!!

Please count me in! Thank you!

On my 13th birthday, a light fixture randomly fell from the ceiling and bopped me on the head. It doesn’t help that my birthday is on Halloween…lol

Happy Birthday!!

Count me in, please.

My memory is a sad one.
In my country patriotism is not a value we cultivate or teach/learn properly, unfortunately.
My first american friend, i made in BA sometime in 1988. He passed in April 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 from complications of his general poor health. His bday was on July 9th, Argentina’s Independence Day. Never gave a flying duck about that date but his passing gave it a new meaning. I always say a payer and light a candle for him on this date.

Happy Birthday!

I remember back in the 70's when money was tight for my mom and dad, Mom took me to K Mart for my birthday and handed me a couple of twenties. I bought myself a winter coat and a couple things for my little sister to wear instead of buying toys.
Mom didn't tell me then, but she told me couple years later that she was proud of me that day. I think I was 12 or so.

Here's to the sunny slopes of long ago.

Well, it seems that I'm either unlucky, or lucky.

Unluckily, the watch died unexpectedly yesterday. I put it in the sun to charge it up before boxing it up, and it was no longer running when I retrieved it.

Luckily, I figured this out before shipping out a faulty watch as a Karma.

As a result, alternate watch options will be added to the OP. The Karma winner will get their pick from those.

Happy Bday.
I turned 21 in St. Thomas VI…Partied and “borrowed” a skiff from one of the Sailboats anchored in the harbor. Motored around the bay then took the skiff back to return it. Those sailboats all looked the same so we left it on the beach with a 10 spot for the gas…Great 43 year old memory. Wish I could tell the owner of the skiff I appreciated it.

Happy Birthday.
On June 22 my daughter would have turned 45. She passed away on May 19th from Breast Cancer. I was hoping she would have made it to her birthday.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter your Karma.

Please enter me for the citizen eco Flieger watch and here’s to hoping for the best bday for you.

I lost my dad in 2016 and my mom in 2018. My dad “came back to life” after about 2 weeks of perpetual slumber for his 87th birthday. Some would call it a minor miracle as he was well into the dying process. He could converse, laugh, ate a meal, all for the first time in 2 weeks. It was a great day. The next day he was back asleep and passed away 15 days later having never regained consciousness.

I would say that was the best bday memory for me.

Thank you so much, Rogue. Will wear the Citizen watch often and spread the good news about our great gun community and the camaraderie. Nice looking watch. Thanks again for your generous KARMA and another HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Congrats yanici! If you feel so inclined join us and post up some pics in our massive watch thread in the gallery. If you’re not sure how to post a pic I will gladly post it up for you. Smile

I will warn you though that it can become a bit expensive if you develop a taste for watches….. Wink

A citizen eco-drive kicked off my wrist watch addiction. They are excellent watches.

Thanks for the invite, Stickman. Yes, I like the Eco watches too. I own one other Eco drive and a Swiss Army battery watch. As much as I love those watches that you guys own, I could never afford to be in your club. This watch that Rogue karma'd will be the nicest one I'll own.

The good news is, there's no need to spend big money to have a nice watch these days! I'm very happy with all my various watches in the $100-$300 price range.

I'll never own a multi-thousand dollar watch (Rolex or similar). I just personally have no desire to spend that much on a piece of jewelry, or to wear something that expensive around town.

Rogue is right. You don’t have to spend a ton to enjoy fine watches. My $250 Seiko PADI Turtle that I bought used has traveled all over the world with me and is one of my favorite watches I own.
