There seems to be a new protest every week. We need to quit rescuing these idiots from their own lunacy.

You should have added that to compound this lunacy he sued and the SF area jury awarded him millions for his loss of legs injury at the Concord Naval Weapons Station.

Wait until some thug comes by, mugs them, and then pushes them over, snapping their lower leg bones. Compound fractures anyone?

Maybe if they all did that, the Lions could build a new stadium.

hmmm, just use a moving dolley and move them out of the roadway. What happens after that is their own problem.

Give each participant a 32 oz ball peen hammer from china, a pair of safety glasses from the dollar store, and all the free Starbucks coffee and specialty drinks they desire. Put up police tape to prevent others from joining their cause, then grill some dogs and pop some beers. This time of year it gets cold after dark so don't forget your jacket for the bonfire and smores. Whoever frees themselves is more then welcome to join in.

When I saw this, I wasn't sure why someone didn't just loop a chain around the blocks and drag them out of the way.

This happened about 2 miles from my house and a really wish I could have found out about this while it was going on. Because I would have gone there and asked them if they were prepared to spend the night there. I then would have told the police on the scene the best way to handle this would be to just let them stay there. When they died of hypothermia they could then haul them off to the landfill, no muss, no fuss.

There is a very simple solution for these glue themselves in place idiots. That is to ignore them and any needs they have. When they start begging to be removed hand them a 2 inch rather dull pocket knife. I'll bet the first time some police agency uses this approach you won't see these idiots try this stunt again.

I've stopped counting.

I find true irony here in how often we saw Starbucks employees deny service to LEO, Military, veterans, anyone wearing MAGA gear, and this chain appears to be 'the' preferred beverage of liberal activists...

... and they get protested Big Grin by liberal activists!!! Razz

Seriously - I do not know of any means of removing the concrete that will not result in tissue trauma! The trauma potentially could result in loss of pedal digits, even a partial foot.

Anyone - what is the safest way to remove the illustrated stupidity?

I read somewhere that drying concrete expands in the direction not constrained by a sturdy solid barrier like a form. This means it would expand into your feet as it cured. The void containing your feet would shrink therefore squeezing your feet.

If this is true, just leaving the protesters there or moving them somewhere else and letting them be would be an option. Give each a small hammer and chisel lest we be accused of not providing a way out of their situation.

Wouldn’t some heat be generated as well during the curing process?
