Yes, you heard right. The lunatic left has taken a page out of the Mafia handbook (sort of) and initiated a protest by placing their feet in concrete blocks. Given the city they pulled this in, I'm not sure they realized just how dangerous this idea was, especially so close to the river.

Two of the four protesters were taken away in an ambulance.

Betcha it's getting pretty chilly in Motor City...I say bring in a forklift or skid loader, scoot them out of the Starbuck's entranceway and relocate them a few feet to either side, pour some more cement at their bases to anchor them to the sidewalk so they don't blow over, and then hand them each a decorative flower pot so they can serve a meaningful purpose.

Universal Medic 45 could only get 1 person on a stretcher due to "the nature of the call' and another medic was dispatched for the 2nd. Universal Medic 55.

A tech on Universal Medic 45 was injured during this thing...not sure how, but hope ya feel better soon.

When I see stuff like this it reminds me of the Concord protest back in 1987.
The Concord protest involved a protester who was trying to block a train to protest arms shipments to south America.
The train did not stop and he lost both legs and suffered other injuries.

When I see protesters blocking a roadway or in this case a store entrance all it takes is one driver, who is either unaware of the protest or cant stop for some reason and people get hurt.
This can be very dangerous.
