| Needs a check up from the neck up  |
my kids are making slot cars for a stem tournament and didn't realize they needed a drill press to drill axel holes. I wonder, can your local high school or community college offer some machine time? Maybe a nearby machine shop or manufacturer would like to offer up some time? It's good community relations, particularly in the context of a kids' tournament.  God bless America. | |||

Does whoever is sponsoring the STEM tournament assume everyone’s family has a drill press? That seems like a bit of a stretch. I don’t know many people who have one. Maybe the sponsors have made arrangements to provide the use of one to the contestants, and the kids missed that? | |||

If you're on FB go to a community page and ask. I see that a lot in my area and people are always helpful.
