@ArtieS - It is always nice to see a balanced perspective. I too hope that the implentation will be successful and further promote the idea of more liberalization generally. I understand there are risks and hope things work out positively. | |||

As a retiree that goes on base to shop the exchange and commissary regularly I hope that at least we will be able to transport our firearms in the vehicle while we are on base. Also, when I go on trips I'd like to take my gun with me but if I think there is any chance I might stop at a base I have to leave it at home or perhaps in the hotel room. Would much rather be able to keep it in my truck safe while visiting the base. I was also an FFDO and although the procedures for transport and storage were cumbersome it was really nice to have a weapon available while on duty and on the layovers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------Roy is not my real name. | |||
