No results from the pathology report yet. Her scheduler called me this week. Said wants to schedule next Bronchoscopy and laser surgery. So I am going in for that on July 29th. That is the soonest she had an opening. I have an appointment with my Pulmonologist on July 8th. I figure no news is a good sign. Thanks again Everyone. Roy Beware the man who only has one gun. Update Well I saw the Pulmonologist Monday the 8th. It was a very hard appointment to go to. He was the one who told me I had Lung Cancer when I was in the hospital with pneumonia just before Thanksgiving of 2009. Well he said it sounds like my lungs are opened up some. I asked about the Biopsies that were done during my Bronchoscopy and Laser Ablation. He said of the reports he has seen they all were Benign. I asked him if that was all of them. He said he thinks so. I almost came to tears. Been down this road 10 years ago with a different outcome at that time. So I am going back under on the 29 of July for some more Laser Ablation of the area where the tumor projected into the main airway. I do not know how many of these I will need. The Surgeon at the consultation visit prior to the first procedure said it may take several procedures to clean up the area. It was called something else then scar tissue. Well I look forward to them. I could breathe so much easier after the first one last month. Thanks again for all the well wishes and prayers. Roy Beware the man who only has one gun. Update: From the Aug 29 Laser ablation. At recovery room I had sharp pressing pain across chest with cald sweat down my back. That nurse said it probably due to procedure. They gave me a Norco for the pain. Was off most of the week except for Friday. Started a low grade fever Wednesday. Was told to take Tylenol and watch it. Each day breathing seemed harder with more weezing. Sunday morning was real hard to breath. Mind you I was doing neublizers every 4 hours to loosen mucas and was coffing a lot up. Well Sunday morning was real scared. Went to the ER. They have me admitted. One enzyme in blood work shows possible heart attach. There is some water in lungs. They got me on antibiotics for Phemonia and more blood test to watch for heart attach. If enzime is still elevated more cardio tests Thanks for any good wishes sent my way.
