Thanks for sharing your Fathers life with us. I am sorry for your loss. And also glad his passing was as peaceful as it was. He,like so many from that age and background taught us the meaning of independence and courage. And he still is thru you. Rest well Chief you have earned it.

I saw this yesterday but have a chance to read it until today. I truly sorry for your loss but he went out on 'his' terms, it doesn't get much better than that.

Stay strong and know that you gave him great comfort in the last few months of life.
