AT&T sucks. I had a billing dispute that took months to solve and somewhere north of 12 hours of my time.

Not a big AT&T fan. Had Direct TV for years then switched to UVerse about 6 years ago. Got tv, phone and internet. I'm now down to only UVerse tv and Spectrum internet and I only kept the UVerse tv because I can record 4 shows at once and the dvr is much larger than Spectrum's.

UVerse internet was a joke and getting anyone at AT&T to come here to fix the internet issues we had and actually care was not possible. If I had to do it all over again, I would have dropped AT&T's internet a long time ago. I am still happy with the AT&T tv but it is a little pricey at $110 per month.

Check for channel One America News Network and you may never go back to Fox.

I considered switching to AT&T from Spectrum (I have Verizon for cellular) after they ran fiber all the way down my street. A neighbor across the street switched and during a storm last winter he suffered a 3 day outage and my Spectrum service never went down (and has been pretty stable for a long time). A sample of one but I doubt I will ever try AT&T service. I watch so little cable TV I'm more likely to get rid of my Spectrum TV package completely and switch to YouTube TV even though my bill probably won't be that much less per month in the end. There is no way I'll switch to AT&T for cellular.

AT&T TV service can be a pain to deal with. A friend had who passed away from cancer a couple of months ago had it. So far even the lawyer for the estate has been unable to get them shut off! I never saw idiocy from a company like that!

Many thanks to all who commented.
I will at the least cut back the premium channels with Spectrum.
When AT&T gets fiber to the house I will check with neighbors.
I will look into switching cell service to Spectrum.
It’s pretty much a matter of saving money, though; I’ve been very satisfied with Verizon since 2000.

I’m Stead fast against direct tv.
Many reasons. Weather being one of the top complaints.

Ask your self do you need cable?
Or
Would Local stations and streaming be the ticket?
