I currently have/use this one and can't stand it.

It looks nice, but the cork stopper got saturated with oil and now it leaks and needs to be held in or it'll fall out when pouring. Also the spout dribbles with every use. I need to keep it setting on a plate or paper towel to keep the counter top from getting oil all over it.

I'd like something with similar looks/design, but with better functionality (doesn't leak). Willing to pay for quality.

Any recommendations?

Serious Eats tested them and says OXO or else Zulay if you want dark tinted glass.

Yeah, preferably something ceramic to keep out the light. Otherwise the oil will go bad quickly.

The Oxo isn't the prettiest but it works fantastic. Drizzle or pour, it does not drip when you stop and it's easy to clean.

We like recycled tequila bottles, Fortaleza, Don Fulano, Código, and 1579 bottles, all make nice olive oil bottles.

NECRO THREAD

I realized that I never got back to this thread. I ended up purchasing a cruet from an outfit in North Carolina. Ceramic bottles, great pourer with a rubber stopper and a weighted lid that opens when you pour. A little spendy (I suppose), but well worth the money IMO. Now I can keep what I need on the counter, the rest in the pantry, and not have to worry about leaks/spills. Highly recommended.
