I'll be following this thread closely since I am in need of a good mattress. Last two mattresses I purchased were a waste of money and didn't last a year before they started sagging.

Yes this has been asked before but it’s a good question. A year or so ago it was asked and one of the reply’s was 100% latex so I researched it. Bottom line we bought one from here:

Sleep organic

We customized it for my wife and I (each side unique to each of us). For us it was life changing. Best sleep I’ve ever had, no more back aches, etc. And like you I’m a side sleeper.

While it might not be for everyone I can’t recommend it highly enough. I suggest you look into it. A quick look shows a king below your 2k budget.

You seem to be on quite a bender about folks asking questions that have been brought up before. You know you can just ignore the threads right?

A forum is about interaction, it isn’t just a library to look up info.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Thanks for all the replies, everyone. Lots of good suggestions and tons of reading material so far. I checked out that mattressunderground forum and started looking at some of the brands they recommend in one of the stickied threads there. The one I contacted last night (Luma Sleep) because it was mentioned that the mattresses are good for all weight ranges says that their all latex option was the only thing that they can recommend because their hybrid models don’t have very strong springs. So when I brought up that contradicts everything I had been reading so far (hybrid models with springs tend to be better for 250lbs because they provide better support), they somehow changed their stance and said their hybrid models will be fine. So kinda fishy to me right there....so while not an absolute dealbreaker I’ll have to do more research on them because I’ve ran across some reviews that aren’t the best about their customer service.

The Winkbed suggestion could very well be the one I go with...I’ll have to contact them to ask some questions to see what they have to say. I do like the fact that they are rather local to me located only about an hour and a half away. Some of the online reviews are also stating they are good for side sleepers in my weight range.

Actually I provided one reply with tons of links so that anyone looking for a mattress can find a lot of info in one place.

Curious what my bender was?
