I read an article on this that summarized the Left in France as blaming B&T for selling selling rubber bullet launchers that the French are deploying on the anarchists there.

There is a video showing them light pallets on fire next to the building.

Lots going on in the EU, leftists fomenting unrest everywhere.

I was trying to be tactful. It was missed. As everyone now knows, even the complainers, B&T is a high end Swiss firearms manufacturer. They also have the CURRENT contract for the Army’s SCW (PCC).

With those two facts, and this being a high end firearms forum, it is NOT unreasonable for a poster to assume members would know who B&T is. Instead of complaining, in the future, look it up.

Perhaps now I should start assuming that everyone understands all the fine points of scope sight glass characteristics or external rifle ballistics because of how often they have been discussed here.

There is nothing quite so arrogantly ignorant as assuming what everyone else should know. Roll Eyes

Not sure how who B&T is, and what a European Corp Code is could escape you?? All of this is WELL known in the firearms industry/community. There have been entire threads here on B&T Firearms and Suppressors, primarily in the 'Suppressed Weapons' sub-forum.
I had always thought of them as niche, but then with all of the changes in suppressors in 2026 their name pops up often in forums and YouTube. Additionally, Silencer Shop carries 29 models of B&T suppressors (8 models currently in stock) and unlike their rifles their suppressors are competitively priced (i.e. $975 to $1100 for 5.56 and 7.62).

This has been plainly clear, in large bold letters since the summer of 2020 where fantastical stories of racial, sexual and colonial grievances is reason enough to destroy various communities and people's livelihoods.
The Buckley Institute Releases The 2026 National Undergraduate Student Survey
quote:
.....45% of American college students agree that physical violence can be justified to stop what they see as hate speech, with liberal students (54% agree) leading moderates (36%) and conservatives (30%). Interestingly, 72% of those who agree that physical violence can be justified to stop hate speech also agree that hate speech is protected by the First Amendment.
....

The above study continues to validate and confirm the societal issues before us and the mental state of a significant chunk of young people. I've repeated this before, we're repeating the 1970's. Far-Left terrorism was common in every country, Action Directe (France), Red Brigade (Italy), Baader Meinhof Gang (West Germany), INLA (Ireland), etc...70's and 80's was rife with domestic terrorism, all embraced the Marxist-Leninist playbook, the Soviets were happily supplying and providing guidance to continue unrest throughout the Western world. Here we are today, terrorism, arson, assassinations haven't ramped up save for British Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe. Members of this forum that were stationed in Europe during this period can probably relate the various security briefs & postures around US bases and areas around certain neighborhoods. Big difference, the police in Europe was quite a bit different and politicians understood the consequences if far-left agitation was allowed to go unchecked.

I myself find it amazing that people here for the very long term who don't know who B&T is. I have lots of their stuff and its really good.
But they clearly need much better PR.
But on the other hand we have posts all the time naming niche mfg. like Tikka, Hammerli, Stribog, SWFA, Howa, Tisas etc. etc. and in the suppressor forum a zillion new players all the time every single day.
This is the first post that I remember people complaining about who is being posted about as a gun mfg. What was so different about this situation? I don't get it at all. And I clearly don't get it since this in an internet forum where everyone is two keyboard strokes away from looking it up.

Chellim: Thanks for taking the time to explain who these people are. I've never heard of them either.
