Basal Cell Carcinoma
My Dad had a bunch removed. I had a pre-cancerous patch taken off the bridge of my nose last year.

My wife had one removed from her smile line in 2001. She had a great surgeon' you can barely tell it was there.

They scheduled the Mohs surgery for a couple months out from now, they will have a plastic surgeon on hand to do his thing if it’s needed when the surgery is over.

I had one removed from the left side of my nose back in 2004. They tried removing a small chunk twice, but it kept coming back.
The last time they ended up taking some out, checking it, and taking some more. By the time they were done, I had a pretty good sized hole. The plastic surgeon worked on it, and unless you are looking for it, it’s not noticeable. It’s never come back.

I had the Mohs surgery yesterday. They claim to have gotten it all on the first cut, but the hole was about the size of a nickel. A plastic surgeon closed up the wound immediately afterward, but he extended the wound top and bottom, making it an oval almost. Hopefully will have a very small scar when all is said and done.

My ex-wife had three on her face.
MOHs took care of them all.

No biggie and no need to worry.

Had one on my back, they cut it twice to get the edges clear.

No problem at all.

I never think about it.

I get checked every couple of years.
