smlsigiPad Pro cover recommendations
I finally replaced my Gen1 iPad with a 12.9” Pro.
I’m now looking for a cover and wanted to know what the Sig braintrust recommends...
Thanks!

OrgussWell, there's this discusson on keyboard covers, if that's what you're looking for:
https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...570020254#3570020254If not, the simple Apple cover is fine for most uses.

jimmy123xI have a drop tech case on my 12.9" Ipad pro for over a year and like it. It has a lip that comes up around 7/16" on an inch on the sides above the screen and protects the screen. It does not have a cover over the screen and quite honestly I prefer it that way as I use it to watch movies. I also don't think the screen protector is necessary.

V-TailWhat is your target price range?
I don't have the iPad Pro, my wife and I each have an iPad Air 2. I paid about sixteen bucks for Fintie covers on Amazon. They are just fine.
There are much nicer covers available, at much higher prices, but for basic protection and function (auto on / off when you open or close the cover), the low cost Fintie is just fine.

bonanacroinI have the Griffin Survivor case on my iPad PRO and I have been very pleased with it’s performance. It does add some bulk to the device, but the protection is awesome.

JWFMine just sits nekked. I had an Otterbox on a previous iPad but it was too bulky and heavy, I do not find the bare case slippery at all.
Just another day in paradise.

911BossBasic cover I have:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod..._title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Keyboard cover, can’t beat the Apple offering but it is pricy (veterans now get 10% discount on everything from Apple though, so it helps some)
For more protection, but also some bulk, I have:

roadkill https://www.poeticcases.com/It’s the brand I use on my iPad 12.9 gen 1. I have the revolution. It’s cheap and has a built in screen cover. I haven’t found another 12.9 case with a built in screen cover. The only downside is the kick stand breaks. First it will not close completely then the support piece that locks it in place breaks off. Poetic has replaced one under warranty then refused to replace my second one. For the price it’s not a huge deal but definitely an issue to expect. If you don’t need it leave it alone and all is good. Everyday use it will break just a matter of time. The case it self is essentially bomb proof.
