He had me go inspect a dozen or so of them. They were ALL pieces of shit. From rotten frames to one that was under water.

This one had 50K original miles and runs perfect.

I told him buy this car on the spot.

I've been hunting one for 2 years.
The guy that had this was a serious car collector, I'm talking 1970 GTX, A V8 ferrari something, a Datsun 240 Fairlady oh and a Buick Skylark GS.

I have all of it's service tickets, manuals and window sticker!

Congrats, I used to have a 1978 silver anniversary like that......without the aftermarket wing on it. One of my favorite body styles are the 1980-1982, same car just different bumpers, seats etc.

Very very cool!!!

My best friends dad has a 1970 Corvette. My first ride in that car had a profound impact on me and is a huge reason why I LOVE Corvettes.

Congrats man! It’s beautiful!

I WANT a 70 steel bumper but they are PROUD of them!

The Corvette is the best value vintage muscle car on the market!

I'll be repainting the upper part of the car soon!

That's awesome!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Either do it or have someone grease the rear stub axle shafts, the part that goes through the rear control arms. A very neglected service item on many Vette’s. I think a friend still has the tools,he’s been trying to sell them if you are interested.

Love those YJ8 wheels. I had a set of those on my 77 El Camino, got those at the time there was a factory restriction on ordering them on a new Vette. I had more than a couple Corvette owners try and talk me into selling them, this was late 78 through Spring of 79.

Oh forgot, use a high Zinc motor oil if you didn’t know, Valvoline VR-1 or Joe Gibbs products as camshaft wear was a problem on 75-79 SBC’s.

Oh, the L-82 camshaft P/N was 3896962 when I got out of GM dealer parts in 2017. If it has been discontinued Melling would be a good bet that they have one to replace it.
