Cardamom. Turkish. I'll look into this.

Honestly, not sure why people put cinnamon or nutmeg. Just thought I'd try it. I'll add cardamom to the list.

I'm even more boring...I drink tea.

Coffee smells amazing, but evrytime I try it, it tasted very bitter to me. Even when mixed with other things.

Is it true that a pinch of salt in the grounds make it better?

I believe it’s more like salt binds to the same taste buds as bitter so it somewhat blocks bitter tastes.

On the weekends I like Bourbon, Irish Whisky, or Baileys. For the weekdays, we mix in criobru roasted and ground cacao. If you like chocolate, it's great.

How to buy ground cacao? Don’t think I’ve seen it before

Looking for a change of pace, it seems that adding cinnamon or nutmeg is popular.
Have you tried adding chicory like the good ole boys in Louisiana do with their coffee?

They add roasted and ground chicory at a ratio of 2 to 3 parts coffee to 1 part chicory. They add it in the grind basket and brew it.

I’ve been using a Moka pot for about a year now. I add a teaspoon of sugar to the grounds in the basket instead of in the cup. It comes out sweet, but not overly so, and with less sugar to achieve the same effect. It also prevent it’s from boiling through, and seems to produce more of a creamy head to it if that’s the way to describe it. Kinda looks like Guinness. I fill it about 2/3rds of the way with coffee grounds, then the sugar, then more coffee grounds to level.

Pure Ground Cacao Beans. Does the mocha thing with your coffee, only better. Or you can brew it up by itself. Food of the gods.

I put a tablespoon of cinnamon on top of the grounds when I brewed this morning's pot of coffee.

The smell while it was brewing was way stronger than the flavor.

The flavor is actually a nice mild hint of cinnamon.

I will have to get some ground cardimum and try that as well.
