Traditional double-action autos are the best handguns ever made.

Optics on pistols are for fools.

Led Zeppelin is the best for the ages.

No more Indian reservations or sovereignty. You are Americans, no more tiers of law. At some point, we need to eliminate all Native subsidies and protections.

18 is the age of majority. If an 18 year old is able to rack up thousands of student loan debt, vote and join the military, they are old enough to drink and arm themselves.

Get rid of sin tax. I despise the idea of making something legal, with the qualifier of taxing the shit out of it. If we the people decide something should be part of our civilization, then it should be part without tax as a requirement. We should fight every tax as much as possible.

On taxes, no more property tax, no more vehicle registration, no more smog checks. You can not believe in property rights, from castle doctrine to trespassing laws if you believe in property taxes. If you owe something you think you own, you don't own it.

Insurance, of any type, is a non representative tax. Why is my house insurance in Montana going up by 40% because of disasters in the SE, gulf region and California?

No more fishing or hunting licenses. You can drop babies with out a permit and yet I have to go buy a permit to fish? Enforce regulations, but don't make me buy a permit to fish waters my taxes already paid to maintain.

And personally, end Modernity mentality. Call it feminism, call it wokeism, call it liberalism and progressiveness. It truly does not matter because the human condition has not evolved one iota since the Sumerians. Not one bit. We think we do with technology and "education", but we have not evolved in our souls.

Since when? After the American revolution, when they guillotined thousands in mass hysteria. Or when Napoleon sent over a million peasants to their death?

Or in pre WW1, it's expansion into west Africa through brutally means.

Or post WW2, taking huge amounts of US money under the Marshall plan. Meanwhile, doing atrocities throughout it's former colonies for mineral extraction.

France has never really been a great civilization by any metric since the Greeks. Not even their fabled cuisine makes them great.

Most wars have started because some assholes thought they were better and smarter than the guys in the other side of the line.

—Japanese
—Russians
—next up: Chinese

The French still think Napoleon was the greatest ever because La Gloire.

Europe is dying, it’s not reversible with anyone now in power.

There is no moderate Islam.

Glocks are actually pretty decent.

Bach is better than Mozart. Chopin is better than any other of the romantics.

Mexican food sucks. So does sushi.

No man can be 100% homosexual. Drop Kate Upton, unclad, in front of a gay individual, and he will be at least mildly interested - at least.

No one will ever fix Africa.

My country, Canada, is full of socialist imbeciles - even in what passes here for “right wing parties”.

No one will ever write more brilliantly than bleeping H.L. Mencken.

I'm not a British conscript, I have refrigeration, I don't need to drink IPA's.

Institutions of one type or another and the power that they wield ,
have a great deal to do with the vast majority of what's wrong with society.

( Financial, political, religious, educational, military and a few others )

All chronically homeless should be shipped out to an abandoned military base in the desert.

The only long term homeless programs allowed, have to serve that population, in the desert.

I'd say the idea of concentration/internment camps for the homeless easily qualifies as well beyond a "hot take". Eek

I mean... Yes, I see your point, but society has rights too, and we shouldn't be held hostage by the insane, addicted, and just plain a-holes.

Everyone that proclaims great dissatisfaction with government regulations and programs ( finger pointers),

Should do so after completing 40 hours of service with that particular area of the government.

Either to make it better or to abolish it

Yep. I'll die on that hill with you.

(Oktoberfest has always been my favorite, it just took me a few years to come around to the superiority of Wiesn over Märzen... But I'm now 100% sold.)

Proper Korean BBQ is better than, pick one.

American bourbon and whiskey is the best.
