Jesus was walking through Judea when he heard a commotion. He walked up on a crowd preparing to stone a man in rags. When he asked what was going on, several people cried out that the man was a thief and the people were sick and tired of it. Doesn’t work for Protestants, but I’ll tell it to my MIL. She’s Catholic.
