I heard the plows go by at about four this morning, put the dogs out at seven and could barely tell. Looked at the forecast… Another 10 to 17 through the morning... Going to finish my coffee and fire up the Ariens...

We were spared in south central MN but the winds are brutal and visibility is very poor. I think I'll stay in side all day.

I have some great neighbors!

I've lived here my whole life and I don't remember drifts like this since I was a kid. This was downright awful.

I'll take that snow anytime. We had rain, freezing rain, sleet, and a dusting of snow last night. Made for some interesting driving to work this morning. Now we have a lot of standing water, and flooding.

Most of Iowa roads are impassable or travel not advised. Interstate 35 from Ames to MN border is closed...

This wind is making things nasty - our county plows have been pulled as they can’t keep up... Roll Eyes

We haven't had a winter like you guys are having in a long time. Hang in there and don't over do it with the shoveling.

Jim

This is the most snow I’ve encountered since I moved up here 16 years ago. Blowing snow is getting to be as regular as mowing grass.

I do not miss winters in Alaska, Alberta, and the Upper Midwest.

I planted tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries today. This is my kind of February.

We'll check back in August to see how you're liking that heat and humidity. Wink
