+1

I've got a AR15 Lula, for quickly unloading duty ammo when we are switching to frangible ammo for steel drills, and unloading left over frangible so I can go back to duty ammo.

I've got a stripLula to load up ammo in the AR mags.

Finally I have an upLula for the pistol mags.

I'm with you...

The rifle LULA is like magic for loose ammo, but the StripLULA is fantastic. Loading from stripper clips is so fast and easy, and with boxed ammo, stripper clipped ammo comes in 30-round boxes that are smaller than normal 20-round boxes of loose ammo.

Just to add, I have used these for couple years and have tried couple of other types of mag loaders and just come back to this. There is a another company that is making these. They Look identical made in China of course. I don't know if they are licensed or a patent rip off or what but I ordered one late one night from some internet ad, didn't even really realize it was not authentic at the time. I don't even recall the exact company or ad and it was about 1/2 or maybe 2/3 the cost of the authentic UpLula. It looks exactly the same as the original, BUT it does not work AS well. The tolerances are not as tight and while it does work, it can sometimes bind a little and get a little cock wise. This is mainly if/when you are loading pretty rapidly, once you get used to these things you can rock and roll with them.

So as always in life, just beware of the knock offs.

I’ve always hand loaded, even my rifle mags. As I’ve gotten older I find my thumbs hurt for days after a long range session.

While at Cabela’s today I picked one up and used it at the range. WOW! Should have bought one when I first learned to shoot.

I need to order a rifle one.

There is a toggle switch AR mag Lula

There is a StripLula that will slam a 10 rd strip into an AR mag.

There's a BabyLula for small caliber single stacks.

AND NOW THEY ARE COMING OUT WITH A 10/22 LOADER THE END OF 2018 !

I guess it saves on buying tons of magazines

Don’t forget the Scar 17 loader! Big Grin

The Range Benchloader makes 30 rounders a breeze. We've got Lulu, Uplula and the Range Benchloader. All fantastic products.

Max, you say you won't use one. I'm just curious - why not?

I don’t need it, I have good strength in my hands and I don’t find loading mags difficult therefore I don’t have a need for one. I guess in the back of my mind I’m also thinking I shouldn’t rely on a tool I might not have when I need it.

well I picked one up today and after a little practice it's pretty cool, the only thing that would make it perfect is if they had a way to clip the mag into place like you would in a pistol that way you could skip the part where you needed to put it on a hard surface then have a release button.

you would have to make them for each different mag and probably kill the profit out of it.

I think the only difference between a p7 mag and a p7m8 mag is the notches. I've used one a lot (several thousand rounds) on p7m8 mags without an adapter. They may work even easier with an adapter, I dunno, I've never tried one.

The AR lulas clip on to the magazine catch slot. I just use my belt or hip when loading pistol mags. No hard surface needed.

I have no issues with hand and finger strength. 20 years of rock climbing makes for strong fingers. I also spend a fair amount of time at the family ranch swinging a pick ax to remove yucca and cutting wood with a chainsaw. I use an uplula for any double stack mags, but especially Glock mags. Attend a pistol course and after a couple days of loading mags, the uplula gets used for even single stack 1911 mags.

Are you seriously concerned you'll lose your ability to load mags by hand? Wow. Roll Eyes

Why would your hands be any different than other muscles in your body? Muscles experience atrophy when not in use and will weaken. I know plenty of men who struggle loading mags so I’d rather maintain hand strength than lose it. Hand strength also helps to shoot more accurately so loading mags along with weight lifting and hand exercises help me maintain strength.

I'm one of those people, and I dunno why I've not seen these. I guess in general I go shoot, go reload, and hang in the Lounge/Lair too dang much. May need to go rummage around the local shooting supply and see what else they've come up with that I'm unaware of...
