ador50th High School reunion this year
I went to our 10 years. Big mistake. Got invitation for the 20th, 25th and 35th. Declined all invitations.

PASigGraduated in 1991 and was looking forward to the 10 year in 2001 but it was abruptly canceled I guess due to low interest and after that I lost interest myself.
They had a 25 year reunion I heard and about 25 people showed up out of a graduating class of 200 or so.
The couple HS friends I was close to then, I'm still pretty close to still and that's good enough.

TonydecFellow class of 1975'r here. My school will not be having a reunion, it no longer exists. It was closed due to crime and truancy. Life in NYC!

Smart man.

Never been to a single HS reunion. No interest whatsoever. I was in JROTC from 1969-1972 in So. California; we certainly weren't the most popular group on campus. We were housed in a bungalow and during the early spring semester of my sophomore year the building got fire-bombed. FBI (Federal property) was involved but never caught the perp. They moved us to a building underneath the stadium - partitioned off half of a strength training room so that pissed off the football coaches and team. The biggest thing that helped us was that our principal was a retired Marine colonel.

hberttmankI went to my 50th last year. Had a good time, saw some folks I haven't seen in decades. The committee that put it all together did a great job.

architectFalls Church HS, class of '68. I've been to every one of mine, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 40th, and 50th. It helps that I still live in the same city as my HS, and none of these have required any travel. Attendance has been 100-200 out of a class of about 700, this has been declining at the more recent events.
For the most part, they've all been pretty good times with an added amusement factor of watching people who were all about appearances relax their stances over the years. I generally don't interact with any HS classmates IRL other than a few from my sisters' classes, so it is a chance to catch up. There are a few who I never knew well in HS that I've come to be friendly with solely from these affairs.
Generally, the reunion weekends start out with a Fri. happy hour gathering in a bar/restaurant followed by attendance at a HS football game, then a dance on Sat. night at a Elks/Mason/etc. hall with a DJ playing retro tunes, the a Sunday picnic. Everybody kicks in $20 or so to help, the money is managed by the same person who was the class Treasurer Senior year, I don't think she's getting rich on the reunions.

Appliance BradClass of '76 so mine is next year.
Went to the 10th and 25th. Missed the 30th and 40th.
I really didn't like any of them when I was in HS and have reached the point where all my f**k$ are gone.
So when the invite comes, it will go in the trash with the other junk mail.

Biker_dudeI couldn't stand to see how old my former classmates have gotten. Fat. Bald. And that'd be the women.
On the other hand, I haven't changed.

sourdough44I quit going after 20 years or so. I see no need to try to get the coveted Summer weekend off, plus it’s 6 hours away.

coloradohunter44My 50th will be next year. I doubt they will have a reunion. I really don't miss any of my friends from back then. Time sure flies....

StarTravelerI'm still a few years away on the 50th but we'll probably have a nice party for that when it comes. We had small class (<50, public school) in the country and were pretty close, so most of us stay in touch at least occasionally. Sadly, sometimes that's at funerals for other classmates.
My dad's class from the same high school had their 65th about 3 or 4 years ago. Over half of them were present, but I'm not sure that will happen again. They're all 87 to 88 now and they lost three of their members in just over a month recently.

armoredI graduated in 1969. I never attended any reunions.
I don't remember any school spirit when I went to High School.
I could not wait to get out, let alone go back for reunions.
