My 50th, if I were to go, would be next year. I detested every minute I was forced to spend there (long story), didn't keep track of any students after graduation, had no desire to go to previous reunions, and won't be going to this one, even without the travel distance to California.

Our 20 would have been last year. If they had a reunion, I heard nothing of it. Graduating class of about 190 & I've kept up with just 1.

My 60th would have been last year, but I have had no contact with the school or any of the other students since I graduated. I was there only half a year, but do have the diploma someplace.

Seeing this thread prompted me to go to the high school’s site and look at the “missing classmates” list. I’m not on it. I assume I’m on a list of graduates someplace, but I’m guessing that whoever made up the missing list thought, “Who was that? Must be a mistake.”

Yes, I am Class of '75!

To tell you the truth, I didn't even realize it until I read your post.

No plans to attend, and don't care at all.

My 50th is in 4 more years, and I keep in touch with many of my fellow graduates (maybe half to two-thirds of the class). I most definitely plan to attend mine, and just hope I'm still able to physically go when the time comes!

50th was a few years back. If they had a reunion, I didn't know about it and wouldn't have gone if I did. Went to a large regional HS with 700-800 grad class. I don't know any of them.

I'm class of '75. I'm in contact with those from my past that I want to be in contact with - I have no desire to see anyone else. I'll respond to the contact and let them have my email address, but don't expect to hear from anyone.

This year is the 66th anniversary of graduation in 1959 from Roswell High School in New Mexico!

I had the advantage of the most brilliant, devoted teachers I have ever known. They cared deeply, maintained classroom discipline; they considered it their failure if a student was not successful.

My 60th will be in August. I planned the 50th, but am not involved with this one other than communicating details to the classmates. There were 92 of us and about 30 are gone. Over 30 of the boys were military, with 15 of us in Vietnam. We all got back, but some have died as a result of wounds or Agent Orange.

I send out email to the class to celebrate birthdays and notify them when one of us passes, or the passage of relatives and others who might have been a few years ahead or behind us.

There are only a few who want nothing to do with us. They did not grow up in the town and may have only gone to HS for a year or 2.

I spend time every day getting ready for birthdays or searching for obits or answering questions about former teachers, etc. I really enjoy doing it.

Class of '75 here, also. I've never been to a reunion & have no plans to ever attend one.

My main goal in high school was to get out of there. I maintain no connections with any of it.

My 50th in middle of next month. In Houston. I’m going, so everybody can see how badly I have deteriorated in 50 years.

Same with me. I did see one guy years later after graduating in '79; went to visit my parents and had my car worked on and an old friend was the mechanic. Saw another friend years after that at my father's funeral, he wasn't on the guest list but decided to pay his respects, he liked my dad. Other than those two, never contacted anyone from high school, never once been to a reunion or class gathering. My two yearbooks from high school were lost in moves throughout the years, and I have no idea where my diploma is. College was where I made my friends that carried into my adult years, and I know I have my college diploma in a filing drawer.

Class of `76 here. I have no idea if there's going to be a 50th reunion next year. I was contacted (i.e., sent a letter) about the 5th and (IIRC) 10th reunions, but then they either lost track of me or decided not to bother. I didn't attend either one of them. I never kept in touch with any of my classmates anyway.

This year will be 71st year after HS graduation. No idea whether there will be a reunion. I have never been to one.

My wife has been to a few of hers, and she did enjoy them.
