100%. We all like the content but some superb film it was not. And the film nominees used to be somewhat accurate, 15-20 years ago. As in you could bank on most of the films nominated would be worthy of a watch and they’d just get the winners wrong, and every other year they’d get something right. Now the nominees aren’t even correct because it’s all been so politicized. Good or bad, the Oscars are completely irrelevant now. And if this came out in the 2000’s, before DEI this and that, it still wasn’t good enough to get nominated back then.
