100% this. Don't think I've ever worn one, much less owned one.

Growing up in a colder climate, and a several hundred year old house, on a farm, yes.

It was pretty much a necessity. (Coming off the farm/ranch pretty much means undressing anything really rough outside, then going into the mushroom, shucking the rest, and heading for the shower - if you don’t have any clothes in the mudroom, put on your robe, and go get some. In hindsight/maybe sweats cost more back then, but there probably should have been “house sweats”
Kept in the mud room - but I also remember sharing a fan, so maybe stuff cost more.)

Now that I have a daughter, also yes.

Usually just sweats and an undershirt, but there is a robe in the bathroom in case I have to go get something mid shower etc/wife and I are getting ready at the same time and I go use another bathroom.

Nope. I haven't owned a robe since I was a kid.
I get up and get dressed.

My wife bought me a big warm robe for Christmas one year and it lived in the back of my closet. Until I got the flu-covid-sick, then I put that robe on and didn't remove it for a week.
Now it's in a landfill.

I put on a robe when I get out of bed in the morning, and until I get dressed, which may be three or four hours later...I'm retired.

Joggers and 1/2 zip on weekends, few things are more uncomfortable to me than a robe.

I’m kinda a robe guy, always have one. I also like carrying firewood in near the woodstove with it one. The thick material protects against the wood, with my welding gloves also.

I own two really great robes, and have for years, but they just hang in the master bathroom......just in case I get the urge!

I do. Microfleece. The house is 60 degrees when we wake up during the Fall and Winter months.

Keeps me warm while I’m making the coffee.

Up until about a year ago I never owned a bathrobe.

Then we got a hot tub and using it when exiting the tub when the weather is say below 50 makes for a much more pleasant experience. But that’s the only time I use one and yes it’s very plush…

I’m retired. I have several robes for seasonal wear. I usually get dressed by lunch time. A robe is so damn comfortable.

Yes, it's comfortable. I usually wear the robe in the evening after the shower. I call that time the 'relax zone'.
