My condolences on your loss. Thank you for sharing some of your father’s inspirational life story. I am also a descendant of parents who were part of the greatest generation. A generation raised through the hardships of the Great Depression and a horrible World War. Our generation was fortunate to benefit directly from their life experiences and their love and devotion to God, Country and family. I dearly miss my parents, aunts and uncles and their friends who were part of our early lives. I feel obligated to share their stories with the grandchildren and hope they can appreciate at least a small part of the hardships which that generation endured and the contributions they made to the world. Again, my sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in fond memories of your father. | |||
