I would say they are in the minority. Give them my congratulations for so many years together.
That is simply remarkable. Please pass on my congratulations as well.

Rey HRHMy 32 long, long, long, long years of being married to my wife beats your parent's 82 years of marriage.
Whenever someone asks me how long we've been married, that's how I answer. Even with my wife there. She just rolls her eyes.
Congrats to your parents.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

As long as she could make a sammich that’s all that matters.

My mom and Dad will hit 67 years in October.

BigNCAwesome, Q! That beats my info. My parents and in-laws are in their 40+ years. My grandparents on all sides suffered a lost spouse before 50 years hit.
On another note, YESTERDAY, my wife and I (41 and 40 y.o) celebrated our 20th.
