SevenPlusOneWhat daily driver (that you can actually afford) would you have if...
I actually got mine about a year and a half ago. I don't daily it, because of where I work etc. I drive my E46 325xi (240k miles) most of the time.

Those are so beautiful. I would like probably take the V8 though.
But seriously, what would the insurance cost be?
Good question. I'd think it would be similar to any other $40k car, but a minor fender bender would total it.

pbslingerI almost bought a late 70's, or early 80's BMW 7 in the 1990s. A friend told me his mother had a low mileage car she kept at her winter place in Florida she wanted to sell. 30K miles for $5K. Only downside was it was metallic orange. I was going to Florida anyway and planned to drive it home if the deal went through. She decided not to sell. Would have been a great car.
Got my first BMW last week. Bought my brother's 2006 530i with 70K miles for my wife. I'm driving it until she returns home on Friday. Have to learn how to operate everything so I can show her. Finally have a car with ride quality and suspension compliance I dreamed of.
