I don't know, but that guy was NEVER a Conservative, that's for sure!

ETA - Looking at your sources, you do realize that 'The New Republic' is a Leftist mouthpiece/media org don't you? The same can be said for 'Ray Story'...Just sayin'

I agree with the posts above, and it’s good this misguided POS has come out of his political closet and is posting his crap for a GDC rag where it belongs.

There is quite a lot of historical misinformation in his article which is a hallmark of the GDC’s wont to rewrite history.

In his article Logis links to another article in TNR written by a fellow Useful Idiot named Brynn Tannehill who writes. . .

“There are more unregistered guns in this country than are possessed by the Pentagon, DHS, and police departments combined. And Republicans want more of them.”

. . .which is absurd to even begin with, but if the guns are “unregistered” then how can that be quantified and provable fact?!

The guy apparently is a Fox News pundit as well, which isn’t really saying a whole lot these days.

It sounds like one of those coerced confessions the Gestapo was known for, doesn't it?

I watch a lot of Fox and do not recall seeing this Rich Logis. Here's all that came up on a Fox search:

And he wrote an article four years ago:

Rich logis if he is a real person sounds like some Mittens or Bill Krystal type. Effete country club type whose comforts and sinecures are largely secured and couldn’t give less of a shit about the needs and freedoms of the common man.

The only gravitas this blue falcon has is with people of similar mindset and they were never my friends to begin with. As for his support of the GOP? I don’t care. The democrats are definitely now the party of the privileged “let them eat cake types” and this Quisling fits right in. I am glad his types are openly telegraphing their authoritarian tendencies and lusts.

If the new republic is full of his kind then hopefully they will go the way of the weekly standard and someday fox news.

If they are media types I've observed the "switch" is usually a business model. Money. Examples are Matt Drudge and Arianna Huffington. Maybe one day I'll describe my drift away from right-of-center theory.

I would believe him more if he says he always felt like he was a woman trapped in a man's body and has decided to transition now.

But to say he's been a gun carrying republican and advocating whatever his advocating for now? I say bullshit.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I see a lot of this as nothing more than propaganda. Contrived to undermine the opposition.
