Sorry, my opinion of the generation in question is as low as it gets, but I simply do not believe that they are incapable of unscrewing a dead bulb and screwing in a new one.

Sorry, I'm just not buying it. The truth will suffice for me. If others need to make up stories, be my guest, but I'm not buying it.

Next, you'll be telling us that they buy a new flashlight each time the batteries in their flashlight die, because saying that they can't replace a dead bulb is the same thing as saying that they can't change out batteries. Think about it. It's the same thing.

Again, the truth of the idiotic, chldish, backwards behavior of these dolts will do. I don't need fantastic stories to reinforce the truth.

Oh, you're a landlord and Millenials don't change light bulbs? Don't confuse lazy with stupid. They are not the same thing.

Why would they bother to pay their loans? Every damn commie running for the presidency is telling them education is a right and promising student loan relief and free college.

I somehow fall into the millennial category, but as stated earlier, I can do much more than change a light bulb.

I know a bunch of guys my age who cannot change a car tire, use simple tools, and some who cannot trust themselves to paint a wall. All these guys are married and have children who are going to be just as non-self reliant.

I have an almost one year old and I intend to teach him how to be a gentleman as well as an adult who is comfortable in a board room and under an engine. In conjunction with some basic people skills, I figure he'll be considered God Emperor among his dumber, duller, and helpless peers.

Kids today don't have to spend time in a library researching and reading with search engines. Of all my educational experiences, I feel that having to go to a library and research, read, and understand things probably taught me the most about learning.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the usefulness of google and the internet, but I can see how it makes people lazy as fuck depending how its used.

Use it to learn, or use it in a lazy way to find the first answer that pops up without checking the source. IT's latter that is more common.

My son has commented that the quality of new hires is really poor. Many do not know which way to turn to tighten something. He also comments that they do not want to work very hard. This is in a piecework shop that pays really well when you put forth effort. They like to hire kids that grew up in country on a farm, harder workers and more mechanical knowledge.

Millennial here. Just replaced a faulty lightswitch in my bathroom that was shorting the exhaust fan on.

Not light bulb. Light switch. Took me about five minutes.

I will admit to some millennial laziness, though. I did use a cordless drill to take the cover and switch bolts out, and only used a screwdriver for the post work. Technology, and all that.
