Mrs. Mike has been calling the neurologist from my last stroke (her silly receptionist is all, well we have one in April) [shakes head and walks into other room]
Need answers about what it is; to see if I can ever work as a cop again...am I gonna have another "stroke/TIA/seizure" or do I just need a good black magic woman?? FML
Thanks everyone for the good vibes!!
When calling for a follow up appointment with your established providers (primary or specialist) be sure to make it a point to say that you have been recently hospitalized and released with instructions to follow up in office within 3-5 days (follow up should be spelled out in your discharge packet/instructions). That often lights a fire under offices, and most docs worth a darn should be able to make the time to at least put eyes on you and request your records from the hospital say if they're not in the electronic records.

| Mike, don't know if you're into this sort of thing but I belong to an online Stroke Support group forum now for several years. I found it a good source from time to time whenever I needed help in understanding some things.. Stroke Support forum online
